I couldn’t think of a better Friday afternoon “Dance Off” song than this gem I found on YouTube this week.
It’s funny how you can forget songs and then with just a few notes, not only do you remember the song, you remember who you were with and what you were doing, when you first heard it.
California – Todd and I are listening to records in my bedroom and we’re skipping fast through this EP by The Fleshtones…then the stylus hits Roman Gods…I don’t think we stopped dancing to that song for hours! We kept playing it over and over and over again and it became one of our favorite songs for a long time. Hit that start button and start dancing now, to that funky bass line!
