If it’s Thanksgiving, that means shopping to me, at Sawgrass Mills, in Sunrise, FL.
I have spent the past two Thanksgivings, shopping the sales at Sawgrass, from midnight on Thanksgiving night through morning, the following day.
I have found incredible deals the past two years so I was excited to see what I would find this year.
The stores even opened earlier this year…some at 9:00 pm and others at 10:00 pm, on Thanksgiving night.
I caught a shuttle, from my hotel across the street, and started shopping at 11:15 pm.
I was done by 1:15 am, with only one handbag to show for my time.
The sales were horrible and there was nothing to choose from. I was so disappointed, because I’ve never had a bad shopping trip from this area. I usually come home with my car so packed with handbags that I couldn’t fit one more in. (These are all for my “other” business, Luxe Purses, where I resell luxury handbags.)
Since the sales were so disappointing, I had Kevin come pick me up and we went to get something to eat and called it a night.
The next day wasn’t much better although I think we found something to buy.
We left on Saturday, to head back home, but I wanted to hit the outlets one more time…I’m glad we did because we found some great last minute deals!
