I can’t believe I finally found this song online! It was one of my “faves” from back in the day (1979) and listening to it brings back a lot of memories.
Ian Lloyd was the lead singer of The Stories. Slip Away was written by Ric Ocasek of the Cars, and it became a Top 40 hit off Ian Lloyd’s solo album Goose Bumps.
